Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. (Psalms 126:5) “…He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.” (2 Samuel 23:4) Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. (Psalm 46: 2-3) “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” (Exodus 20:8; Deuteronomy 5:12 in different wording) Can you trust him to bring in your grain and gather it to your threshing floor? (Job 39:12) God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. (Job 37:5) But I pray to you, O LORD, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation. (Psalm 69:13) “How could I serve an invisible God?” That was the question that I couldn’t fathom. And I’ll never will.
